The Embassy Series
is proud to present the third of three concerts for the benefit of the Ann and Betty Schein
Piano Prize in the Washington International competition of the Friday Morning
Music Club and Foundation. This prize will be used to help young artists at a
critical time in their careers. In this way we pay tribute to Ann Schein who
has enriched The Embassy Series in so many ways. The following concert is the
third in the Series.

To commemorate
150th anniversary of Schumann's death, the Mendelssohn Piano Trio, our
brilliant resident ensemble, will present a two-evening cycle of Schumann's
chamber music for piano and strings. The programs will include two piano trios,
piano quartet and piano quintet. The Mendelssohn Piano trio will be joined by
guest artists Michael Stepniak, viola and Claudia Chudacoff, violin. $45. Cold
